“I saw a woman lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to her leg. I took off my shirt and used it as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding,” the witness said. “I also helped a man who had been shot in the chest. He was gasping for air, and I tried to keep him calm until the ambulance arrived.”
